Founded in 1958, the Nassau County Chapter is proud of its rich 62 year legacy and continued commitment of service to the Long Island community. The national mission statement of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., states that it is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty. In the Nassau County Chapter, we stay true to our national mission through purposeful and engaging programming.
This website is designed to provide information about our chapter history, events, and achievements. Our 53 chapter members are a phenomenal group of Nassau County
mothers who are diverse in backgrounds, education, professions, and talents. However, we stand firm in our unified philosophy and goals as we uplift and empower our children, all children and our communities. Our chapter's theme for the 2019-2020 program year is “Unity in M.A.G.I.C.”
